Latest Practice Updates
Flu is not currently prevalent in NY.
+ The 2025-6 flu season will begin in the Fall.
+ We expect to administer updated flu vaccines beginning in late September.
+ Everyone six months of age and older may receive a flu vaccine during the flu season.
Updated 2024-5 covid vaccines are available.
+ We administer Pfizer covid vaccines.
+ Covid vaccines are authorized for everyone six months of age and older.
RSV antibody shots are no longer available. They will be available to eligible patients again in October.
+ RSV antibody is available as a single dose injection for all infants who are younger than 8 months old, during the RSV season (October through March).
+ Infants whose mothers received RSV vaccine 14 or more days prior to their birth are protected by maternal antibody and are ineligible for the antibody shot.
+ Data show the shot reduces lower airway RSV infection in infants by 70% and hospitalization from RSV infection by 90%!
